We operate part of our own business using Macs and we&rsquo;re excited to help other businesses do the same thing.  We also wanted to let our customers, and other local Mac users know that we provide professional, friendly Mac repair and maintenance for Tacoma and the rest of the South Sound.  Apple makes great machines, but like any computer, problems do come up.  We know how to diagnose issues with your Mac, iPhone etc. and provide solutions without having to ship your machine out of state or wait in long lines at the Genius Bar.<br /><br />***************<br /><br />The Apple Store at the Tacoma Mall is set to open Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 10 AM.  The first 1,000 visitors will receive a free Apple T-shirt. You have two hands!   Put one on the keyboard and the other on the mouse and you will be able to get around your computer quickly.    To navigate through all of your open windows, simply learn two keyboard shortcuts:   <br /><br />If you are on Windows, use Alt-Tab, on a Mac use Command-Tab.  This shortcut allows you to quickly switch between open applications.    If you are on a Mac, you might also want to learn Command-`  This is the back tick key right above the Tab key.  This shortcut will allow you to switch between windows within the current application. Kids probably know more about computers in grade school than we did in college.  But there is one skill we have and the kids still need to learn - how to touch type the QWERTY keyboard.   Where I learned how to type in 9th Grade, kids today need to learn in 2nd. The best website I&rsquo;ve seen and our kids love is called <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/typing/" rel="self">BBC Dance Mat Typing</a>.  Kids graduate through the typing levels following cartoon goats, hippos and cats with British accents.  Very groovy...<br />]]></content:encoded></item></channel>
